Hahaha sweet, man me too, same specs also, and if you look on the website they have drill patterns that look very helpfull, but can you post ball speed, axis tilt, axis rotation, high tracker/low tracker, high rev or low rev player, it helps.

ok.. well i was thinking of a simple arsenal like this..
Mean Machine - Heavy
Machine - Medium
Desert Heat - Light/Dry
Now the Machine i wanted to use as a "First Ball out of the Bag" Ball. I want it to be able to be good in medium oil and maybe use the Desert Heat when the Machine gets to jumpy. The Machine's reaction i wanted to be between a hard and smooth backend i dont want it too hard or too smooth.
Hope this Helps

Hey Brian,
Sorry about the delay dude. I've been trying to come up with an idea based on your PAP. Honestly, off the top of my head I'm thinking something Pin Above. Like maybe Pin Above the Bridge with the MB somewhere between 5 and 6, maybe even 5:30. How is your other equipment laid out buddy? Then I may get somewhere! Thanks dude and God Bless You!

I've got a ball with virtually the same raw specs as that. It's drilled pin just under the bridge, CG under the ring, MB at about 4:30. I love the reaction I've gotten out of mine. Medium leaning medium-heavy, super strong in the backends.
My style: ~17 mph, about 350 rev rate, mid-tracker.

Brian,
Based on your specs I would still keep the pin low on the Machine. Have it drilled pin 4inches from PAP.... 1 3/4 above your midline...I would prefer 2 inches but I am not sure of your span and most 13yr olds if the ball is correctly drilled shouldn't have a very long span. I would place the MB 4 1/4 from PAP.
This layout will still allow length for you, and the MB placement will help with the backend reaction.
Goodluck,
Carl

Brian,
go with 2-2 1/4 above your midline.

Hey Guys,
You know Carl the more I start thinking about it, you are correct my friend! Keeping the pin low might be more beneficial to the lad! What kind of thoughts were going through my head earlier I have no clue. I guess the Pin Above idea just sounded right at the time! Oh well, lessons learned! LOL!
God Bless You All and have a great week!
