What the hell does that mean ?

CrownedPrince,

Thanks for clearing that up for him. The Registration even said sign up to be a Track Legion member.

HM.....

YOu can feel it is BS all you want, but apparently they are giving away a free bowling ball everyday. I don't see any other ball company doing that for bowlers.

Ok Hammer Flapper explain the "loyal? part of it ???

Thats what I thought......

Track could have just said:

"Track Legion members"

No need to put "loyal" in there if it didnt have some meaning, huh ?

Your a 'tard anyways, you didnt even read my post....try paying attention before you post..

302efi,

Do you think that since you like Dynothane Equipment that if your name is chosen for the ball-a-day that they won't give you a ball? Is that the issue you are having?

I'm not talking about Registration, I wanna know what Track means with the term, "loyal" ?

....Maybe a certain few hundred "loyal" (read: not random)

As far as other companies doing it, lol

Sure says alot when they gotta GIVE the product away......ROFL

I'm confused Chad, I honestly don't know why you are mad that they are giving away balls to "loyal" members.  Is there something wrong with that?  I don't like track, but I do think it's cool that they are doing that.

And as for this comment......I think it says alot when you support another company's equipment yet sign up for Ball-a-Day Giveaway.
I think it is a really good thing Track is doing. It is advertising and it is exposure.

Goodluck in winning the ball-a-day giveaway in the future.....

C-G ProShop-Carl,

I really need to change my sig,now that Columbia is making Dyno's gear, I'm done with them

...and I assume Lane #1 as well.

Not mad Shane, just confused with what "Loyal" means, thats all...

Ever wonder why some peoples names got pulled twice ? (even thought they didnt actually get another ball)

Whats the odds that someone would get pulled twice with all the entrys ?

...at those odds, maybe Mustard did shoot all those 900's ?

I don't really like track but I did sign up for the free ball a few times.  If I win a ball, I will drill and throw it.  Who knows, I may like it and buy a few more.  Seems like a good marketing thing for Track.  I'm not sure if they are targeting only "loyal" legion members, or really just trying to convert people into being "loyal".  Either way, it's a good thing.

I've never owned a Track ball prior to today. I never visited their website until I saw the giveaway posted on another website. I entered every day since it started, it's my home page on my browser.

I wouldn't have considered myself 'loyal' to Track until today.

I won the giveaway last Sunday, ball arrived today. It kicks serious tail. I'd easily consider buying my next ball from Track, without question.

Del, the president of Track, called me Wednesday to congratulate me and help with a drilling recommendation.

Today I was at a PBA regional South in Largo, FL at Liberty Lanes and saw Patrick Allen. I ALMOST considered having him autograph my Machine.. almost.. hehe.

My point is, diehard members aren't winning. Anyone who decided to become a Legion Member the day they registered are, and I'm living proof.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

what a douche.

questioning a company that is giving something free away.

and i've never heard of any incident on this forum, that a track ball cracked.

just because columbia owns the right to the company, does not mean they have the same people designing and building there cores and coverstocks.

Go look at the list if winners there are some that to my knowledge have never used a Track ball before or are at least not what you would call a die hard loyal Track user.
Part of the purpose of the giveaway is to get some new people in the mix not just the people that are already loyal. The thought is that when a non Track user wins they will like the ball they get and make future purchases based on that ball. It says a lot about the confidence they have in their product.
If you don't have anything good to say just keep your opinions to yourself. We in here get along very well, never give each other undue grief and we prefer to keep it that way.

I signed up for the Track forums a while ago when the Machine I purchased cracked. I wanted some insite on the problem as well as how to get a replacement.

BTW, I never said it's not a bad idea for what their doing...Pretty good for people to try them out, if it's totally random.

I am one of the "Loyal" people. I have signed up every day since this has been going.  I am a Track fan.  Yes I do use other equipment still.

How many other companies do this ????? None !!! How many companies will have their CEO call to talk to the winners, NONE,  but Track does.

Yes I was one of the LUCKY ones that have won, and that is by being "FAITHFULL" and signing up EVERY DAY.

302efi, I  wish you would change you Title to some thing else as this is not BS. Keep Logging in perhaps you will also win.

Now you have your ANSWER about the "LOYAL" !!!

Also I have not yet had any of my bowling balls CRACK yet, most of this comes from having a good driller with GOOD knowledge.

How would they b loyal to track. Will lets see they take most of the people the enlist in this program show loyality by going to the site and taking time out of there day to sign up for the ball a day give away. I would say that I am loyal to track.

And further more I have been throwing track equipment for years and I have only had one ball cracked because of my own stupidity, so I don't see where your getting off saying that all track balls crack.  If this was Storm I could see you being able to say that but hey its not.

I think this is Carl definition of Track's use of the term "LOYAL" and I will second it.
You must be a legion member to win, and you must return to the website daily to register for the B-A-D GiveAway. This makes you faithful to a cause. (The cause of winning a new ball.)
Webster defines the adjective loyal as being faithful to a cause.
Thus, the use of "loyal legion members" is perfectly fitting in this situation, and does not speak to any form of bias in how Track chooses the daily winner.  So everybody go to www.trackbowling.com RIGHT NOW, and TOMMORROW, and THE NEXT DAY, and sign up for the Ball-a-Day GiveAway.

He's just trying to stir the pot and be an attention whore.  Let it go.  It you don't want a free ball, don't sign up.  They are giving away free stuff and you are whining about it.

"Nothing but Dyno-Thane"

well ok Efi, but what does "nothing" mean.

I don't understand.  and what's this word "but".  I don't get what you mean by "but".

if I sit here and don't post or do anything, does that mean I'm "nothing"

and if it's nothing BUT Dyno-Thane, then do you not eat, drink, sleep, own clothes, or do anything without Dyno-Thane's approval?

I'm so confused.

Chad you sparked something alright. Im sorry but what he said was pretty freakin hilarious. Im actually finding ALL kinds of laughter out of this. I got what you meant, but it was kind of taken the wrong way and then definitly got out of hand. It amazes me Track has done this, but not Columbia or Amf. Im also suprised no other company has tried to compete and or offer something similar IMHO.

LOL !

Whats really funny is these poeple are defending & yelling like they actually SPENT money on something here !

All I did was question a small wording of a phrase in the Email and these "Track Loyalists" start flaming worse then in the Lane #1 forum !

Its to bad people's tensions are this high anymore ;(

...but oh well, I got a good laugh outta this and I'm sure a alot of other poeple did as well

I could very easily just delete this thread and thats that, but I think its great we got a few "after the fact, you missed the point" posters coming in to throw their flames as well !

Here some fuel for the fire:

Track sucks !

Flame on...
