THIRD week with Mean Machine....another 600+!
« on: March 13, 2007, 03:05:35 PM »
610 tonight with the Meanie for all three games.  192-204-214.  This ball has been money since I got it, my average is 177, though probably higher again after this week.  I also won 1300 bucks at bowling with it tonight.  Worth the 90 dollar investment?  (Used ball plus full plug/redrill)  I think so!

If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

I'm considering seeing if I can still pick up a Power Machine now.

Nice shooting and I believe if you have higher speed the Power Machine will work even better for you. Mine does.

You think I can still find a Power Machine?  Do distributors still have them at this point?

Yes...there are plenty of Power Machines out there. Try bowling.com, or buddies proshop.com. They have them for sure.

Third game blind doubles.  5 bucks to get in, random partner, and you have to combine for over 525 with handicap.  I got paired with my Father in Law (we're on the same team, luck of the draw last night!) and we managed a 541.  The reason I won so much was that the pot had rolled over for like 12 weeks or something, since no pairs had broken the 525 minimum.

I just got one to drill up. I saw 2 reviews on here where two guys complained of the MM losing hitting/hooking power after 60 games. Has anyone seen nor heard this from their mean machine? I never saw any of my balls do that. I think if you use clean and dull regularly, you should not have a problem. Just because a guy avgs high, does not mean he maintains his coverstock.

I am getting my layouts confirmed before I drill

Drizzle

How is your MM drilled? What surface do you maintain?
