I was forced to retire after just the third frame of doubles from the pain...I now can't even turn my arm without pain....
UPDATE 10/9/2006 630 AM Eastern
Just got back from the ER...took X-rays among other tests, and they can not find a break...and can't rule out the possibility of a slight tear, but they think its simply a very bad case of tennis elbow, and have given me some anti inflammatories and have recommended some R&R for the arm...NO BOWLING until further notice (basically until the elbow is completely healed). I had a sever case of tennis elbow when I was in 5th grade from pitching little league, woke up one morning, and my elbow was FROZEN! Took 6 weeks of therapy, but I came back and pitched the final game of the season..so I have come back once, before, and I will do it again when my arm allows me!

When I twist my ankle and it got swelling up, I use this chinese plaster that help get the swelling down and it does work for me. I will send you some tomorrow that when my day off. Try it to see if it work or not. Don't underestimate asian medinces.
If I know American doctors, they will subscribe some medince for you to take and let the body heal itself that why it will take about 4-6 weeks to heal. I really recommend you to try the chinese plaster that will heal you about 2 weeks but still take it easy the week after. Also call rick if you don't believe me.

Here's another home remedy that I use for tennis elbow, and rotator cuff, hand and knee injuries.
(Disclaimer for anyone reading this: See a doctor first, to make sure there aren't serious problems. When you try to doctor yourself, you have a fool for a patient).
It helped heal my rotator cuff (minor tear) in 1/2 the time the doc said it would take. He was impressed. Said it was just positive thinking!

You know, if I get better quick enough, I won't even need that lefty ball....elbow is feeling pretty decent, but the muscle above my elbow is still very sore....and from the bruising around my elbow, it may not be good.
