It was a decent ball, but nothing spectacular.

 Serious former ball whore here.

I once tried to write down from memory every ball I’d ever owned.

I gave up at 300 something. Kept remembering things days later I had forgotten about.

For a long time, it was actually easier to name the ones I hadn’t thrown.

And I’m not even the worst one on here.

One guy’s had WAY more than I ever had, probably several hundred more.

At least he claimed he had.

When you are really bored try to remember how many of each model you ever had.

 Yeah, that too, lol.

Back then, I had many multiples of Yellow dots, white dots, and U dots of all three colors.

At least one of several colors of Angle, most two or three, especially the blue version.

At least one of every color of Hammer, but MANY black, blue, and red ones, along with two pinks.

Half a dozen black Turbos, along with two blue pearl ones, and one red pearl.

Debating picking up a spare Hy-Road as it really is the GOAT for house shot.  Shot a 247 in league today with mine when the backends were flying more than usual and made me put my Green Quantum back in the bag.  It has a thick cover stock so will probably last nearly forever plus Storm probably won't stop selling them any time soon but if ever there was a ball to make sure you had a replacement for that is it.

Oddly enough, I’ve never owned a Hyroad..............

It might be at the upper end of what you can use strength wise (and keep on the lane) and probably not even on house shot.  Pretty much the opposite problem for me where I need a house shot with a decent amount of friction for it to make the turn for me.  It really is more of a medium dry ball for me.
