Brian,

Slow down buddy...take a breath.

#1, do not sell this ball yet.

#2, Carl stated to you to not smoothen out the cover beyond 1500 because it will make the ball skid further and then snap harder on the backend and that sounds like it isn't what you want.

#3 DPat is correct, the shot I used mine on that night was pretty tight and had a good carrydown along with the fact I wasn't really hitting it very strongly.

#4 To try to fix your problem and help control the backend, go to your local shop and drill a weight hole (use a larger bit as to not hit the core). This will remove your positive static weight. If you have 1/2 or more in pos side, have that driled back down to zero. You would also want to check the finger weights and have that removed as well (by drilling the fingers deeper) and by doing that, it would also shorten the core and get the ball to react sooner and not have such a sharp backend.

Try these 2 things and see how your reaction is. Please remember that we can alter statics and the cover/core to get the ball to react the way we want. Give it a shot Brian and get back to me or Carl, thanks.
