Well I'm not sure on the Pin to PAP, have yet to pay for getting the ball drilles.

I do know is was a 2" buffer from  pin to val. Looks just like the #1 on the drill sheet.

 Dont have any video equipment.

The Pearl does seem to go as far down the lane as the Kinetic (maybe a board or two longer), but it does not have the snap as the Kinetic, they just get to the pocket differently.

Link for Kinetic

I think when the leagues start this is going to be a great 1/2 punch.

And even better, when I get my Kinetic Engery !!!!!!!!

I really think these 3 balls (as Carl said) will probably cover any thing you might come across.

You really can cover just about anything except the major extremes with these three balls. Might need to alter surfaces a touch to handle a little more oil with the Kinetic Energy. I know Carl loves this line. The three balls just make sense and compliment each other well.

Well after testing the KP on the cheetah, and seeing how easy it was to play on it with the KP. I feel that with the correct length layout, the KP should be able to cover the extream dry.

We shall see. I don't think you can make the assessment bowling on Cheetah. Cheetah is not dry, it is 25 feet of strong backends. The first 35 feet are high volume. More oil is actually applied to the lane for Cheetah than Shark. Would hardly call this dry.
Everyone has their own definition of dry. If my ball starts reading at 10 feet and I need to play 30 to find any head oil, I consider that dry. If my ball goes 35 feet and check marks, I consider that strong backends. The KP will probably fill both holes because of its control but we shall see.

It blows my mind every time I hear the Cheetah has a higher volume than the Shark.  Does the Scorpion have more oil than the Cheetah?  I can't wait to put the K.E. up against it in October.

Dry for me is anytime when I have to stand further left than 15 with my Phoenix.  Can't wait to see what my Kinetic does before I make a choice.  I'm extremely torn between the Uprising and Kinetic Pearl right now...

For me the cheetah is a conditon that is hard to get control of the lane consistantly because of the backends. This is also something you get when you are on burnt heads. The ability to get a consistant read on them. This is where I seen the KP shine. It game me better control then I have ever seen, even when thinking about equipment I have drilled for this condition, and the KP was just with the normal suggest layout. The idea of dry is different to many people. Some would consider the Cheetah dry, it is the extream dry of the backends being fried. Then you have the other way with the heads completly gone. You see this alot on lanes with guardian heads. You can put reverse block in this as well. The most common thing these all share is they can be placed under a dry lane condition and when it comes to these conditions the thing you try to get is a consistant read off or on the dry area of the conditon. This is once again where I seen the KP shine. Now I hope this explanes what I ment by I feel the KP will work on the dry stuff. I say it because I felt it gave me a great consistant read on the dry area of the shot.

Thanks Lou for somewhat stating that my reason for my statement was vague. I hope I have given a reason why I feel the KP will handle the dry shots well for people with the right layout.

I'm intrigued by this release, depending on things go and my funds go (depends on job situation during college) i'm strongly considering one of these around Christmas time. I've heard its not an overly jumpy pearl and it is asymmetric so there is room to play with it layouts for sure.

Hopefully some videos come out, til they do i'll sit patient as i'm actually pretty well set with what I have at the moment until ball whoritis gets me again lol.

I'm looking forward to it Britton as your and Buddies videos are tops on this site and second to none.

Also anxious to see what this ball does in your hands because my main driller of the two I use, drilled one for himself Tuesday of last week and I was a bit disappointed on the backend of it. Just didn't seem to have any "pop". It was just a slow gradual arc to the pocket with a soft hit.

Britton,

I would like to see it compared to the original Kinetic, moreso than to the KE.  If you can squeeze that in on the Kinetic Pearl video it would be great.
