Title: Kinetic Surface Change

Has anybody tried changing the surface on this ball...

I like to original surface because it goes through the heads without a problem but in my house the backend is alittle more changing so I decided to change the surface to 500 with a high polish...

Anybody else try changing the surface...

I guess nobody has thought about changing the surface on the ball but its a thought...

heh give your post more than a 4 hour window on a holiday. Yea I've changed surfaces on my Kinetic quite a bit. The oob surface so far has been the best. The ball makes such a move it is more of a situational ball for me now and doesnt get a lot of use.

Agreed.  I've kept mine @ 2000( even after using 2000 abralon for cleaning) with high gloss.  Haven't had the need to apply lower grit.  Normally use other equipment to match up.
