Getting my 2nd piece of Track equipment!
« on: June 26, 2006, 06:52:55 PM »
Current Arsenal:

Hammer Hawg
Drilled 3' from my PAP, CG kicked out 1 inch from pin. Small x-hole. Sanded down to 400grit for flooded/heavy conditions.

Track Arsenal Reactive(Intend to add this into my arsenal)
Drilling it 4 1/2' from PAP, either below ring finger or below bridge. OOB Condition. Using it for med/heavier conditions. Benchmark ball.

Track Rule
Drilled 4x4, MB on the left of the thumb(lefty here), CG kicked out a little. Polished up to 2000grit for med/drier conditions

Colummbia 300 Trooper
Drilled 5' from PAP, CG in the centre of grip. OOB condition, used for sparing as when as burnt lanes.

How do you guys see abt my new addition to the arsenal?

With the rest of your arsenal, the Reactive would appear to be your benchmark ball. However, it is not a true benchmark ball as something that tries to roll as quick as what it does does not help you when the heads start to go....it will react too quickly where as something like the Slash that all of us loved for a benchmark ball does have problems with drying heads, but not as quick as the Reactive would.

However, with that said, I do like the looks of your arsenal. You have a particle, couple of reactives for the medium stuff, and then the Trooper for light...pretty well rounded for a 4 ball arsenal.

Wanted to drilled the Track AR yesterday, but stopped myself.

Now my doubt is that, is AR a very rolly ball, like the Delta 1? I need something rolly enough, because of my ball speed that dominates my revs. Haa. And does low RG serves as an advantage for me?
