Comparison Video
« on: March 16, 2006, 03:39:54 AM »
Hey FASTTRACKERS,

Here is the comparison/contrast video you guys asked for...I give an introduction to the video...I played two lines as the intro describes...I was only able to get on film my Robo Rule, Rule Delta 1, Machine, and Arsenal Artillery...

Coming soon will be the Blue Heat, Heat Blast, Solution Solid and Solution EX. Any questions or comments, feel free to post...I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will be down in Enterprise coaching my youth bowlers in their state tournament this weekend, so I won't get to post probably til Sunday night...God Bless you all!

Michael, you have out done yourself! This is probably the be best video I have seen to date. I really enjoyed watching the difference in ball reaction with each ball played on the same line. I noticed how angular the Artillery is on that last shot. That ball really jumps off the breakpoint!!

Great job, yet again. God Bless!

Ryan,

I believe it is that angular because of the Pin Below layout...these layouts shorten the core and cause it to rev up early whereas on my Robo, Delta, and Machine, all those have Pin Above layouts and make the core taller...hopefully, sometime next week I'll have the Blue Heat, Heat Blast, and Solution Series videos complete...after that one is published, then I'll put 'em all together...if I had different software, I would be able to do side-by-sides which is what I would prefer because that would give you guys the best view on each ball and you can tell the differences in reaction much clearer. God Bless you Ryan and all, thanks for the comments, keep them coming!

Great vid bud.  It's amazing that the artillery was the only ball that crossed over playing that outside line.  I would have thought the Robo Rule would have hooked the most.

CHI,

Robo Rule = Dull Low-Load Particle, more energy in the heads, smooth finish on the backend
Arsenal Artillery = Reactive Pearl, less energy in the heads, saving most of it for the backend for more snap...

This is what I've learned over the years with Dull vs. Pearlized Coverstocks...before I knew this information, I thought the same as you buddy! God Bless you and thanks for posting!

Hey Rick,

I have no idea buddy! Can't master that one! LOL! Thanks for the comments buddy!

9orBetter,

The music would be from WWE's Theme Music Library...The Rock used that as his entrance theme when it was still the "Attitude" era of wrestling...glad to see this is getting positive responses...the other four will be done sometime next week if I have a day off...its spring break and I'm out of class for two weeks and the boss man is already talking about working extra days...so we'll see...God Bless you all and have a great week!

On those lanes, it looked to me as if the artillary and the machine almost overlap each other. The machine did go a touch longer(pin position?). On the deeper line the machine went out farther and came back. However it does not react as strongly on the dry as the artillary(due to particle in the the machine?)

I am even more confused. It looks to me as if the machine could handle more oil than the artillary, but maybe hold line longer when the backends dry up?

ARGH!!! lol.

I personally didn't see a big difference in all 3 except for the Artillery was obviously longer and stronger.

Great VID!

Michael,
Nice vids.
Great idea comparing the balls, the way you did.
What was the oil pattern you were throwing on?
Was it fresh, or just THS open play?

Good work.

Hey Duke,

It was THS from open play, nothing really special!

Hey Jason,

The Machine and Artillery do NOT overlap each other, I promise you...was down in Enterprise this weekend with my youth bowlers bowling state...the Artillery has more snap on the backend than the Machine..also do NOTE that the Artillery has a PIN BELOW THE RING FINGER layout, while the other three had PIN ABOVE THE RING FINGER layouts...much different! I hope it helps everyone in some way!

Thanks for the replies and God Bless you all!
