Anyone have any comparisons between these two balls? Thanks.

I have not done a comparison, I can only tell you what I see different vs what others are doing with the widow.

I see the Power Machine as far less sensative to oil, the black widow seems a tad longer before making its move.

VERY SIMPLE comparison, but I hope it helps.

I think carl hit it right on the head with what he said. I have watched him use the power machine and others using the blackwidow on a friday night sports shot. I can say that nobody els is standing as deep or is having as much backend movement as carl has with the power machine. Carl is also hitting at least 4 more boards out to the right then everyone els who is using the black widow. I know it doesnt sound like much but when you are on a sport shot and the outsides are ment to be a dead zone and you flirt with it and hit it at times and your ball still comes back that makes a big statement.

Hey erh,

I've only drilled a few BW's and from what I've seen I'd have to agree with Carl.  The Power is basically a stronger ball overall.  Hope this helps some...

My Power Machine (finally received and drilled) is my strongest ball in my line up (which you can see in my signature below).  I have never had a ball with so much back end reaction.

In fact, I don't see how the mean machine can be a stronger ball!  I don't think I would need a stronger ball.

You cant get backend reaction and hook confused with overall hook. Most balls will hook on a fresh shoot with dry backends. The power machine is a awsome ball but in no way can handle the oil as well as the mean machine and not at all as close to what the Robo rule can handle. The power machine is a awsome ball but it is not a heavy to flood lane ball.
