No love for used Track equipment?
« on: August 28, 2008, 06:05:50 AM »
I have noticed that a lot of people (including myself) are having trouble selling used Track balls. Has anyone else noticed this? Anybody have any ideas why?

I agree with the used market being tough.  Heck...I just unloaded a NIB GP2 this week for $68.00 + shipping.  In my opinion...that's a bargain.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to think that TRACK sucks. And its even funnier when im carrying with my TRACK ball and they're going flat ten with their BRUNSWICK ball.

I had it on here forever and had the price set a bit high and figured I'd be flexible.  I just got tired of seeing it laying around for a few years and tossed it on ebay and figured I'd take what I got for it.

I bet if that Enforcer was in good condition, I'd find a way to get it away from him. lol

The Enforcer made myself and even my doubles partner quite a bit of money.  I believe I had three of them until it was all said and done.  Until the Rising came out, I didn't think I'd ever see that type of ball motion out of my bag again.  The Rising has been great for me just like the Enforcer.  I would even be close to saying that the Uprising is similar to what the Assassin was for me, but with more backend than the big A.

Seeing those reaction shapes with non-particle pieces is a wonderful thing.

htownstaff- I am the one who bought that GP2 from you and I just wanted to say thanks again. It really was a heck of a deal. The ball is punched up but I haven't found enough oil to throw it on yet.

The assassin was awesome, was the only Track ball I've ever thrown and that was sweet at the time, that thing had a ton of backend pop.

for all the ball death stories going on you would think the old Track would be sell in better.

Its hard to justify spending the money. Say you get the ball for $25, spend another $20 for shipping then another $20-30 to clean it, slug, put in new inserts or have the ball plugged and you could have just ordered a new bowlingball. Or bought the old nib from a forum or ebay.
