No love for used Track equipment?
« on: August 28, 2008, 06:05:50 AM »
I have noticed that a lot of people (including myself) are having trouble selling used Track balls. Has anyone else noticed this? Anybody have any ideas why?

good points, now the other side of the coin.I've bought used with needing very little or none at all.span, grips and layout were all good.I clean on my spinner so thats nill as well.then you have a ball that is no longer available, something you wanted to replace or try and never got around to trying.at the most I've paid 65.00 shiped for a ball and another 20.00 for grips and slug,85bucks as opposed to 150-200 for a new ball and most times that would be the cost for the same ball.most times I'm happy to just trade for something else.

True if you find one close to your span you can get buy cheaper but it is still kinda high considering the new stuff on ebay is about $100 shipped. Or if you patient you can get the older stuff new.

In the past year off ebay I bought NIB in 15lbs, Track Green Synergy Pearl, Synergy ETS, Havoc Pearl, two purple solutions, two inertias, two equations, a delta rule, and a Tripple Threat all for $75 or less shipped. (with the exception of the Green synergy) Most were around $60. I had tostop buyingbecause I kept findind so much stuff so cheap. If you found something used locally and didnt have to pay shipping then it would be more worth while to me.

I'm still looking for a triple threat.  NIB or Single drill, it doesnt matter.  Htown, you don't by any chance still have one lying around you'd be willing to part with in the near future, do you?

Hey guys I've got a heavy 15lb Enforcer that I'd be willing to part with.  Been a long time since I've used it, I think it's on it's 2nd drill but I'll have to look to be sure.

The ball name that is bolded, where did you get one of those. I dont remeber one of those being made. Well not with the name Havoc, the onlything that comes close is a Night Hawk Pearl.

Not as bad as you might think...

I know of a shop that has the following San Antonio Track offerings -

NIB 15# Freak (perfect specs IMHO)
2 - NIB 15# Phenoms
2 - NIB 15# Rule
2 - NIB 15# Heat Blasts
NIB 15# Heat (remake)
NIB 15# Spell
NIB 15# Havoc
NIB 15# Solution Powerplus
NIB 15# Triple Threat
NIB 15# X-Ception 5.0
NIB 16# Heat 2
NIB 16# Triton TKO
NIB 16# Machine

Before anyone starts pestering me for prices, I don't know what they're asking for any of these.

If they're used, why bother.

I think that NIB means that they're New In the Box (i.e. NOT used).

To keep things on topic... I believe he was talking about this threads title... not the NIB stuff in my post.

I just bought a triton elite, and a heat 2 solid. I have been throwing the triton more than any of the new stuff I own, it reacts amazingly.
