Post by: AlonzoHarris on August 25, 2016, 10:49:20 PM
What is the word on the street about this quick and quiet release of the Paradox Trilogy?

QR-10 Hybrid Polished

They should've made it a solid to complete the "trilogy"... smh they're trying to accomplish with it what the Paradox Pearl covers (clean through front, goes long, strong end rhetoric).

This Korea released Creamsicle Paradox takes the cake...

When I saw the description I also thought, isn't that what the Pearl is for? Now I'm more conflicted on what to buy. I was going to get the Cyborg but have been considering two balls and thought a Asym Pearl. This sounds like an option too. Current considerations are the Paradox Pearl, Paradox Trilogy, Cyborg, Dark Legend.

What reasoning is behind there being so many awesome overseas only releases??

I've heard the Paradox Pearl was mostly released to fix a supposent cover desth thing on the OG (don't shoot the messenger). The OOB allows it to go a little longer/cleaner with more backend. However, with a slightly lower grit level than whatever a normal Paradox is at, you'll get almost the same motion and handle just as much oil.

I'd assume testing for the USA releases. The over seas markets buy balls at a faster rate than the average American, so they feed the consumer. If cover A works best on core D, they bring it stateside. And make a USA / worldwide release. Or they continue production to the USA like the snap lock which was released overseas and brought here due to mostly good feedback.

Actually, the overseas release is earlier because the overseas distributors have a 30 day window or contract for non-compete against the US distributors
30 days to get there on the boat and 30 days to sell them all before they are released here
on top of that, the overseas market has a new release very 30 days where here its roughly every 90 days
Normally, the overseas equipment is slightly different than ours
in the case of the Mission unknown, they are all the same

I see the Mitch Beasley comparison video. I wonder now how it would compare to the Cyborg and Dark Legend. My thoughts are that it will be a touch stronger than the Cyborg but not quite as smooth. It sounds very similar to the Dark Legend though.
