Tracks most hooking ball.......
« on: September 11, 2003, 04:18:43 AM »
I am trying to answer a question for a friend.  He asked me what is the most hooking ball track makes.  I would consider that to be the most aggressive cover and core combo for oil.  I don't throw or care for track but I am just trying to help out.  So could any of you please help me out???

I believe he currently has a Money or EZ Money.  He is considering the Phenom.  What can you tell me about it??

Thanks,
andrew

I can only tell you that the Phenom flat out HOOKS more than any ball I have ever seen. I beleive it to be the most ANGULAR oil ball I have seen to date with a smooth cover.

I would have to agree with every thing  that Rock said.

As much as I love Track, I have to agree with that!! Everything new is the next big thing for hook monsters. I really wanna see more reactive resin coming out and not so much particle stuff!!

I disagree. I am not saying that Track shouldn't come out with some reative equipment because I have stated several times that they should. What I am saying is this.......Yes their high end stuff hooks, and they are all particle, but each one of them gives a totally different look on the lanes. Not one of them overlap---atleast from my experience.

I see your point and also agree that they dont overlap much if at all. I guess what I meant was that having a ball that hooks on a given conditon is good to have, especially when we talk about the look of the Phenom. But are we going to get to the point where a ball is gonna hook soo much that we wont be able to use it?? My Phenom is barely useable right now. I havent seen enough oil to throw it on, plus it creates too much angle. I am gonna start mellowing it out a bit by taking it to 1200 and then work with the cover from there. Hope to get a smooth aggressive arc!!

Track aka Ball of the week not month...this is why I don't through Track, Ebonite or Columbia.  It became to much work to keep up with the "latest and greatest".

Sounds like everyone likes the Phenom.  Anyone else want to chime in??
