i just ordered the phenom have seen it in action
and was just wondering what to expect compared to my freak out
as far as the overall differences hook, carry, length
I have avg speed and med to high revs just wondering what i could expect from this ball

I have thrown both and can say that with the Phenom, you will play deeper than with the Freak Out. The Phenom will rev up and make its move a bit sooner than the Freak Out but will also be just as angular as the Freak Out. Make sure you have enough oil to get it to the outside otherwise the ball just goes left!!

On edit, the carry is good too. It retains its energy pretty well for a ball that isnt shined or polished. Plenty of power at the pins, although tonight I struggled carrying the 10 because this ball creates too much angle!!

If you have fresh backends the FreakOut could actually cover more boards because the of the shine grabbing the dry.

Rock is correct though, the Phenom is just as angular as the FreakOut, but you can use the Phenom when there is more oil as well. They both hit and carry well, just like any Track ball does.
