1" Pin, Rule Delta 1...
« on: January 11, 2006, 08:42:56 AM »
I'm looking at a Delta 1, with a 1" pin, 2-3/4 oz TW.
Would there be any limitations as to ball layout.
Any time I've had a 1" pin drilled, ball was always pin under ring with CG in palm...these were always symmetrical balls, would there be a problem with assymetrical ball with 1" pin?

I think you would still have to keep the pin low.  The mb will determine the reaction shape.  I have one with the pin out about 1 1/2".  The mb was not inline with the pin and cg so I kept the cg in the palm with the pin under the ring and the mb right and below the thumb about 2.5".  I'm right handed though.

Bar is right, the top is probably low enough to help you out here. You probably can't put the pin anywhere above the finegrs though as the cg would fall in/around the finger holes and would probably give you too much finger weight than you can drill out.
