Phoenix owners. Question...
« on: June 01, 2007, 09:19:53 AM »
Have you thrown it with any kind of surface on it?  Like mine has been at 4000, 2000, and 1000.  Other than 4000 w/polish, my Phoenix just doesn't seem to agree with it.  Anyone else with this issue, or is it just me?

TCS stands for Texture Control System

the Columbia Big Shot also had TCS 4000 finish on it

Thanks. I knew what it stood for but I didn't know what it was. 4000 with clean and sheen seems like the ball would push long and make a sharp turn but that is contrary to what everyone is saying about this ball. I guess I'll see for myself this week.
Thanks again,

before i took the polish off mine it did go long and made a nice backend turn, which continued through the pins

but then i put very little revs on the ball so that might have something to do with it not getting into its roll as quick as most others

There is no comparison in my opinion in the Big Shot and the Phoenix. The BS is much more ball and hooks more out of box.
