Comment on GP2
« on: February 09, 2005, 04:21:55 AM »
I had a buddy of mine watching me throw this ball. He drills his own equipment and has had a drill press for many years. He has drilled MANY different bowling balls, currently his favorite is Lane1.

He watched for a few games, I came up and asked him what he thought. His reply was "HOLY (bleep)", that ball hooks twice." SO I told him that the others are even a little more in the back. I pulled out my pin below bridge, MB on VAL. I threw it and immediately he said "Its gonna roll out and hit flat". WRONG----It rolled up early and had backend that he could not believe. He thought it was going to burn up.

I then went in and grabbed the leverage drill GP2. I threw it and he said "that one has to burn up, it rolled right off of your hand". Too bad he did not wait for the ball to reach the backend before that comment because he was wrong again.

All in all he basically said that he has not ever seen anything like that out of a bowling ball. Early roll, and then it starts over in the backend.

Figured I would share this with you.
