Title: Rico1 SlayR *review*
Post by: Moe on June 06, 2005, 04:06:26 AM
Well its summer, so its time to try new things.  I had a slayR sitting around that i purchased from BrunsNick, i was wondering waht kinda drilling to try with it... he suggested Rico1 becasue the drilling is like crack to him.

Review, bowling on the THS that i normally see.  The ball never over reacts, its is very smooth and controlable from the breakpoint all the way to the pocket. It was a little speed sensetive, to fast = no reaction based on my stats and the lanes.  Other than that, im very happy with the Rico SlayR, it would be nice to try it on a more agressive ball.

Also, on pocket shots, the ball carried VERY well. The sound was scary,  it seemed to carry better than my OI, even on light hits.  Overall i was very impressed with the Rico1 SlayR even though it is a little weak for my liking.

Accuracy was paramount with this ball also, tugging = through the nose with no hope for a lucky brooklyn. Sending it out to far = hitting the 3-6 pocket.

Dave, you'll have to forgive them, the Brunswick people have trouble reading, and often post in the wrong spots . . .
