rising se
« on: December 03, 2008, 10:40:10 AM »
got my se drilled today.no 1 drilling but we moved the pin up 1/2 more.mb 3 inches from thumb.i first saw the ball it doesnt even look like a pearl ball every other track ball on the wall has more shine to it.drilled it up ball hooks more thsn my uprising same drill pattern pin 1/2 down more uprising has weight holrby thumb polished knocked of 1000 abralon pad.the se out hooked it on fresh oil.i had tj put polish on it.the ball screams on the back end.now with polish it is more smooth on the back.i wanted to go pin up but it would still hook like upring.just added polish to go a little longer to play up the boards when rising is to much.speed 16,revs lower, track med high , axis un known. do not put alot of side roll as some players do.balls looks smooth polished .pap is 3 3/4 and 1/2 up

So is the Rising S.E. with polish on 1000 abralon tamer than the Up-Rising? That kind of surprises me.

the se has the same drill basically.uprising has 1000 abralon pad.weight hole by the thumb quadrant.se is box sand i just added polish.pin is 1/2 up on the drill pattern number 1 .mass bias is 3 inch from thumb and the uprising is 4  to me the se is way stronger than uprising.now that it is polished it is equal  to the uprising even though it is polished. i might have to buy one more to drill pin up.i have 7 track balls now. this ball is by far far the best ball i have ever thrown .it is also very versatile.throw faster play up th boards 15 to 5 hammers em 25 to 5 less speed not even funny because i know the pins hurt because the ball hits em to hard.i have pictures of the ball and all the other ones i have 16 from roto/brunswick/hammer/and lane masters so i am not biased even though i will only throw track now  it isnnt tamer just smoother roll and not a wicked backend

Have you thrown the Rising? How does it compare to the Rising SE?

my rising is drilled as 1 drilling but mass biased was setup by driller.ball was plugged and redrilled.it is sanded to 1000 abralon hooks ok.ball was really never a big hooker in oil as promoted.but then again am not on pba tour either.hooks ok.uprising was better than rising.the rising se is a animal have trown 12 games and this ball is as strong as both together.i polished mine to much hook for a house shot.dont bowl on pro patterns so i cant give that answer.in my opinion this is one of the most versatile ball i have ever thrown.this ball will do anything that you want to.i have number 1 drilling but am supposed to try pin up test ball tonite let u know latter
