I have drilled 5 so far and am happy with all but one. It is different than any of the Risings in the shape it makes. It is not as early as the Rising or SE but not as flippy as the uprising.I think the cover is more versitile than the others and I like having the mica back in our covers.

The ones i have drilled are 7 by 4 1/2 above, 7 1/2 by 4 left of fingers, 4 1/2 by 7 3/8 pin in palm, 5 by 6 1/2 under, 5 1/2 by 3 under.  The only one I have not cared for is the 5 1/2 by 3 under. I drilled it for shark at trials but with my high rev rate it flares too much, is too early, and not strong enough down lane. I knew it would be close with the strength of the core but I hadn't been able to test the ball before. I used the 7 1/2 by 4 the first two games of shark but it became too strong downlane and I switched to the 505C with surface.

I have been testing them the last three weeks and am getting more impressed every day. I have to do some unique drillings because of my high rev rate and the incredible strength of this core. The pin in palm with a mass of 7 3/8 is very smooth in the midlane and very strong in the backend. The pin in palm gets the ball rolling and the mass far from my axis keeps the ball from flaring in the front of the lane and conserves its energy for the backends. I would not recommend this far of a mass except for high rev players.

I drilled one off of this to see if I could get one stronger. I moved the pin up and left to under my middle finger 5 inches and brought the mass up to 6 1/2. It clears the front a little better because of the longer pin but is stronger in the mids and backend because of the stronger mass. I was blow away with how much I could get this ball to hook. I practiced yesterday and the house double ran scorpion for me but the machine ran out of stripper fluid and pushed oil threw the pin decks. Every ball straight through the pin deck because I had shined every ball to test the versatility of the covers. The mechanic said he would reoil them but I decided to practice on them for the heck of it. I took the ball to 1000 and could get it to make a move at 30 feet was starting to strike some. I decided to take it to 500 and I could actually swing the ball about 10 boards and still make it hook through the pin deck. I was impressed!! I decided to hit the ball with 360 for the heck of it. I picked off the 4-7. LOL I would have never thought a ball could hook through double scorpion and oil through the pin deck.

If you are looking for an oiler this is it.  PS the ball looks awsome shiny!!

I haven't seen one in person but does this ball come close in color/appearance to the Track Sensor Xcel?

When shiny the color might be a little similar to the Ebonite Playmaker.

I thought balls would naturally reverse flare with a pin that far out? Is there something I'm missing?
