Title: Saw the Phenom and Triple Threat tonight

All,

Not that big of a deal, but my friend is a Track staff member and he got his Phenom and Triple Threat in this week and I finally made it up to his shop to check them out and man do they look good. I tried to talk him out of the Phenom, but I knew he couldn't sell it because they where his "free" balls.

He is drilling them up tonight so I should be able to go watch him throw them both sometime early next week. He can't use them in league or regionals just yet, but he can throw them to practice.

He also told me the distributors should be getting them sometime next week. I am for sure getting one or both of these balls. That will complete my 4 ball (plus a spare ball) arsonal.

Both balls cleared for PBA use July 22. Throw em if you got em.

I saw each of them Thursday at a trade show. Ofcourse I did not see them in use, but I did get to see the cores, and the covers.
Bill Monce says the Phenom is made for more oil than the Mutant, however, it is a bit longer and has a more drastic backend reaction when they are drilled with similiar layouts.
