I still see a hole
« on: April 05, 2006, 10:43:22 PM »
Ok, now its all fine and dandy that my bag is slowly filling up with some serious power with a flaming "T" on the sides but after the Freak arrives its time to look at things other than particle. Seeing all my reactives are midrangers at best its time to look in the direction of stuff like the AR and the Rule(still newies available out here, prob nib Excpetions and FAZ's floating around too) Can you guys list some pros and cons of some of the strong reactive Track stuff? The Havoc and my seemingly indestructable Tritons can take care of the medium/dryer side of things for now.

If you are looking for a reactive that can handle some soup, the Delta 1 is a great choice. Right under it, the Arsenal Reactive and Artillery are very good as well.

Since I do not know what is coming out from Track when they make their next batch of releases, you may also want to wait to see what comes out then.

The question isn't why do I throw all Track, it's why don't you.

Arsenal includes:
Rule GP2, Rule Delta 1, Heat Blast, Triton Heat,  Desert Heat, Blue Enforcer, Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Glove

Adrian, I also vote for the Delta 1. It is the strongest and best Track reactive ball I have ever thrown!! It can handle med/hvy with ease!! Great ball!

Hey Adrian,

The Delta 1 offers great length and finish in med-heavy oil.  The Arsenal Reactive is a little smoother in reaction overall comparatively and I'd say the Rule is about 3-4 boards less than the Delta (dependent upon layout of course).  Hope this helps some...

the rule might not be as strong as the Delta 1 but i love it, to me its the best all around ball out of all the balls i have, can really change reaction with surface adjustments

i have these right now:
Track Rule GP2
Track Rule
Track Aresenal Aggressive
Track Animal
Track Threat

i plan on getting these
Flaming T spare ball
Machine
Arsenal Artillary
Heat Blast

For a strong reactive, I too like the Delta One. I wouldn't call it an all-arounder unless you change the surface. If your house shot is really just medium--not medium heavy--then you will have to stay inside and bump off the dry further down the lane to keep it from burning up or going Brooklyn. It will work well with that kind of shot if you're comfortable throwing it that way.

I'm still a long way from perfecting the more inside-out lines, but it's fun to try.

i've said the artillery is a great ball since the first time i've thrown it, and will continue to say so. If I had to walk into the building with only 1 ball, this would be it. It is a strong reactive, the early rolling action of the reactive, with the backend of the angular, an incredible combination. The heat blast is also a wonderful piece of equipment. Ball starts up a bit later, with a much smoother transition. Depending what kind of look you want on down the lane, can't go wrong with these 2 reactive. Let me also sing the praises of the solutions while discontinued, they are still around. The solid maybe the most under rated ball in quite a long time, and the pearl was just pure prefect skid/snap. Don't be scared of the resins, they are your friend.

Based on what I've seen of the Rule Delta 1, it can handle a decent amount of oil, I would place it in the medium/heavy category. I've had good luck with my original Rule on medium/heavy as well- so those are two good bets in the reactive category. I also have liked the looks of the Slash on medium-heavy, especially if you need something that will be controllable.
