It's an awesome idea! I think for the next time they do this, they should set it to one ball per member.

Congrats stardude

The marketing is GREAT! However I for one have to agree with CG, in that it should be limited to one win per person, or at least within a time period of say 90 days. With an individual winning more than once in a short time sapn, some people may be very "put off" and not believe in the "randomness" of the picking of winners.

I like the idea of once per 60 or 90 days.  Trust me, it doesn't prevent me from entering though  I just hope that if I do win, it's at a point where I can get an Inertia

Assuming hundreds of daily entries (which seems reasonable) the odds of a repeat winner in such a short time are very low. Good marketing can be ruined by events like these happening.

can be ruined? are you kidding? They are giving a FREE ball away everyday. How can somthing like that be "ruined"? Only way i can anyone complaining about this promotion is if staffers were winning 3 times a week, then it would look fishy, but some people just have more luck at drawings than others!

Just a repeat...the marketing is GREAT!

However, IMHO, if I was a Track Employee, I would rather have 365 different winners out in the bowling centers and on the forum boards "touting" the Track name, than say 300 (figuring in double ball winners). The cost to run the promotion is the same, but the potential "good will and advertising" is increased.

I will continue to enter dailey, read the forums, and speak well of Track.

The purposes of such a giveaway are many:
1. To make Track look good in terms of their generosity to the Legion.
2. To give people who typically don't throw Track a chance to win one of their balls, try it and get hooked.
3. To just get more of their balls on the lanes!

This can be somewhat "ruined" by any appearance of unethicality in such a promotion. Particularly, if any staff members are winning balls that they would get for free anyway, it starts looking very fishy and casts Track in a negative light. This is even more true if a staffer wins multiple balls.

There should be no repeat winners and no staffers eligible for this promotion. Period.

WAH WAH WAH.  I didnt get MINE.  This is not SOCIALISM here.  These are FREE balls to whomever is LUCKY enough to WIN.  You dont DESERVE one just cuz you SIGNED UP for one.  IF you win MORE than one, good for YOU.

Wouldn't expect any other comment from someone named "g_bushman" ROFL.

Read the comments carefully, none of us said we deserve a ball.
