Without knowing all of the details...I would agree...the Slash is a great medium ball and is many people's benchmark ball now.

Slash because of the solid cover, and being wood backends, it would be jumpy on the back.  The Heat being pearl wouldf get out of control on the back sometimes, and the blue heat is too aggressive for me on THS's.

Rantings...I have a slash myself and my house is wood. Our pattern on THS I believe is shorter than 38ft and the Slash handles the backend beautifully. Try a control layout to smoothen out the backend reaction.

Hope this helps!

blue heat, i like a more aggressive ball on all conditions. Seem to work better for me, now for a stroker/tweener i would say all , you could use them all and play various lines, with the lines i would like to play i would say the Blue heat...

Thanks for the info.

Never-Learn,

Guardian to me is not synthetic heads. Guardian is what is put on wood to protect it, an overlay. The distribution is a THS. Much more oil in the middle.
You are correct about the old/new wood and old/new synthetics question but you can still make an educated guess with the info that was provided.
