« on: February 22, 2006, 01:56:55 PM »
what's the out of the box finish on the sheer havoc?  Maybe 800 grit and polish?

Thanks,

Strapper,

The 800 grit would work well, but the Sheer Havoc (if memory serves correctly) uses Clean n Sheen, not normal polish. So 1000grit compound.

Thanks...  Usually when resurfacing, I go one grit duller than box to achieve approximately the same reaction (to account for loss of reaction due to use)...  I should be alright with 800 then.  I just wanted to make sure it wasn't like 2000grit or something...
