The New Website...
« on: August 01, 2007, 03:57:23 AM »
Hopefully by posting this I don't cause the new site to collapse under the weight of all the new traffic.

To Rick and Carl -

How much of a pain would it be to make the numbers for all ball weights a part of the new site?

It comes up on both of my browsers... perhaps the new site hasn't been updated on the servers closest to you?  Not that I'm even sure that's a possibility.

To the Track Legion,

Try changing your primary DNS to 72.32.1.204

Carl/Rick

One suggestion

Pet Peeve: I hate when they show the specifications of a ball and just throw a number at you with no indication of what it means.

I would like to see specifics when listing ball specs, either by showing figures on a certain scale, or perhaps a graph or chart that indicates each ball's potential. For instance: a certain scale with length or backend on 1-10, 1-30 scale or whatever. Pick a scale on how to gauge the ball and stick with it.

It was consistant to a degree for a short time and the next thing you know they just throw out a number and then it becomes nothing but confusing for the consumer. Just throwing out a number means nothing. Length 18, backend 43 means nothing.

Length 10 - next to the number just put on a scale of....

Backend 43 -  on a scale of ...

It just makes sense

Do you follow me?

Rick just wanted to bring it to your attention that I found a couple of errors.
1 Rising specs have the Int. Diff. listed in both Int. Diff. and Diff.
Diff should be .052 if the marketing materials sheet for the rising is correct.
2On the products page it shows the Tape Tool but the link directs you to the towel.

Thanks Sean....man, you guys are really putting me to work aren't you?....

Seriously now guys, please feel free to notify Carl or myself in regards to any wants that makes our site easier for us to use.  "THIS" will be our new home!

Carl and I may not be on BR much anymore due to fact that we now have our "OWN "site where Carl and I will continue to help all the Legion and non Legion members (I can't lie) regarding layouts, tech info and above all making everyone a better bowler......one bowler at a time.  That's Tag Team Coaching folks.

I notice the name Chris Lamb has made it to the site.  Does anyone know him?  Anyone met him?
