They do look very similiar. It apears to me, that the mass that the flare ring surrounds is slightly bigger on the Thrash than on the Silencer. Pictures are hard to tell anything from though.
I currently have both of them. I have not thrown the Silencer in quite some time. I did not like it at all. I had a sanctioned 300 with ihe Silencer, but nothing other than that to speak of. It could be the coverstock that makes the difference.
They are very close though...and that is a great find on your part.
