Slash vs FreakaZoid
« on: February 07, 2005, 09:41:24 AM »
How do these 2 balls compare, what sort of difference am i going to see in the reaction between them?

Also what is the difference between the cover stocks, both have versions of power plus?!?!

Does anyone know what a V2 would do in comparison to these 2?

HM.....

If you are looking for a comparable reaction to the V2...the Slash is probably closer.

The Freakazoid will handle more oil...the Slash has a much more tame breakpoint. I like both of these for league shots. The Slash is smooth through transition throughout the entire lane...which is awesome on the dry backends that we all see during league (atleast most of us do). The Freakazoid opens up the lane....while at the same time giving you a good early read on the lane.

I agree with Ex.  The Freakazoid is going to give you more midlane control and more overall hook than the Slash.  The Slash will be more length and a controlled backend while the Freakazoid will be earlier and more continuous.

I remain unconvinced, because of the cover strength of the Slash (PowerPlus EX! - Enhanced Super-Flex) and the cover preparation of the FZ (fine compound, virtual polish; cover is Power Plus = plain Super-Flex). Big difference. Think about it, please. (Despite the low Rg of the FZ)
