animal untamed question
« on: October 16, 2004, 04:40:10 PM »
Hey fellas one of my ball drillers had this ball drilled up for himself with the pin below and to the right of ring finger witht the cg and MB all in a diagonal of the pin, with a weight hole. I was kind of interested in it, so I purchased it from him today. I havent had a chance to really use it yet, but what do you guys think of this ball? Relative to the animal what do you think, and what do you think of the drill?

I love the Untamed. I have one now and had another when I was using 16lbs. It gives a different look on the lane than the Animal. The Animal revs up earlier.....but not much earlier. The Untamed revs up early for a reactive and is more continuous on the backend than the Animal. The Untamed can be used on a wider variety of lane conditions than the Animal for me.

The drill that is on the Untamed is a pretty strong layout. Depending on the layout of your Animal and the lane conditions that you are going to be using the ball on you may end up putting some polish on it.

I hope this helps

Yeah it helps. I have a 16lb but I kind of have been coming down to 15 but when he offered it to me it was kind of hard to pass it up. He told me in his hands it hooked to much so he had to polish it up. So it is pretty shiny when you look at it. He said he drilled it for length and good recovery, I was simply getting a second opinion and see what others thought of the drill and ball. He told me the name speaks for itself, when asking how the ball is. I just wanted to make sure I made a good decision in purchasing it.
