TRACK SYNERGY??? ne one know ne thing about this ball?
« on: December 20, 2003, 01:41:09 AM »
Hey, my friend has a ball he got from a house ball rack that he liked, so they gave it to him. Well on the ball it says "Track" and then it says "Synergy". Does anyone know anything about this ball? Or has ne1 ever even herd of it?

Is it a bad ball? I can't seem to find it on any of the review sites. I have one, but don't know the details of it. I believe its a solid. Oh, I'm the friend.

Those things flared like 9 inches.  Have fun watching it lope through the lane.

It was a great ball; won lots of tournaments. There were 3 main ones: a huge hooking, big skid/flip pearl, a control pearl and a dull, sanded early grabbign solid. All had medium-high RG core with huge differentials, with a core similar to the Hawk/Hextreme/Crunch type core.

see the bowlingballreviews webpages as indicted above for details.

These days the pearls would be suitable for medium-light to medium oil, with the solid suitable for medium to medium-heavy oil, mostly due to their medium covers and huge flare.

I remember those balls... first time I ever saw one was about a week after they first came out and Butch Soper won a tournament with one.  As I recall he made a 5-7 and damn near converted the big 4 (after 6 strikes).

Just once I'd like to show up at a place with the lanes FLOODED 45 feet down and flat.  That way I can watch these crankers struggle to find the pocket and leave splits while I come straight off the corner and do nothing but make 4 pins and 10 pins all night.

The first Synergy was a pearlized green ball, typical skid/flip. The second was a solid green ball for heavier oil. Third was the Synergy ETS, pearlized dark orange. Fit inbetween the other two. My opinion, the ETS has been one of the best balls of the reactive era.
