I have not been throwing track for awhile I was thinking about swithching my whole arsenal to legends but it was way too expensive so I was doing research and I realized that track proably has the strongest overall aresnal out there so with that said here's what I have come up with. My style is around 19-20 mph about 425 rpm but can play anywhere on the lane if needed.

heavy/med heavy-robo rule
med/carrydown-slash
med w/backends-heat
light/dry-orange slash or desert heat

that is basically it to cover all lane conditions now the only dilemma i have is any gap filler balls any opinions would be greatly appreciated ie tenpinspro or d pat or revoultions.

You probably have too large of gap between the Robo and Slash...something like a Delta or Arsenal Reactive would fit well there.

Also, the Orange Slash/Desert...if its true dry, you want the Desert!

Last point, I have not used a Robo yet, but the GP2 is a heavy oil handling ball. It SHOULD handle more than the Robo due to them using the same covers, but the GP2 having a medium load of particle and the Robo having a light load of particle. If you don't have a true heavy oil condition, then the Robo should be just fine.

thanks clint the problem is i already had a gp2 and it burnt up for me i have no problem getting the ball to hook but I am a little leary of trying a nother gp2 and answer your question about the gap between the slash and the hevay oiler would a blue heat fit into that slot

Well, the Robo is the same cover with a lighter load of particle, so it will not burn as quick as the GP2...so that will probably be better depending on how the first GP2 was drilled and how your Robo will be. If you can get back to me, let me know how your GP2 was drilled.

As for the Blue...yes, it would fit there...it is more than the Slash and less than a Robo...but how much less? I don't know and it may be to close to have a nice separation when compared to the Delta or Reactive in that Slot.
