Wish I knew what I was missing
« on: August 05, 2003, 07:26:36 AM »
I have only been into the Track equipment for about a year now. The Freak was so different from what other companies had to offer that I had to try it. I liked it so much that I got every ball that had the morpheous core----including 2 freaks-and 2 mutants. None of them have disappointed.

I just wonder if I had tried Track sooner, if I would have liked them as much. I was interested in the Heat2---Critical Mass Code Red--- Avenger---Flare---
EMB---just to name a few. I did buy an Assassin and liked it alot, but did not care as much for the Silencer as I had hoped. However, my first sanctioned 300 came with that ball, but nothing before or since.

Currently I have a Mutant-Super Freak (being sold soon) Voo Doo (trying to sell), and a Thrash. All of these balls are great. They do exactly what I want them to do. I would have kept the Super Freak, but I will only be bowling in 2 houses and I will not need this much ball.

I also have a Crunch-Hex-and Spell waiting to be drilled---as well as a Magic I still have to send the money for.
With the listed equipment, I should almost be able to cover any condition. And for the dry stuff I recently acquired a buzzsaw XXXL---so I have everything I need.

"I also have a Crunch-Hex-and Spell waiting to be drilled---"

So which is it? I don't think the Crunch and the Hex cover the same conditions, even with the Crunch highly polished. The Spell is stronger in the hook department than the Hex, but with your speed, both can cover medium-light.

This should cover medium light for you. You have a ton of medium-heavy to heavy oil balls. The Magic is, or I assume, for light oil patterns.

What else could you need for 2 leagues??

Don't join the stupid ball-of-the-month club that we all have gotten sucked into. If you want to "play", that's one thing, but for real use, your selection seems just fine.

I said "2 houses". I will be bowling probably between 40-50 games a week atleast----come September. I do want to play around a bit also. At the one place where I will be bowling, it is very smart to have 2 balls that are VERY close. Just the change in ball can result in a strike. This place is not good in the carry department.

I got the Crunch to try---I have had many people tell me it is close the V2 sanded, and I liked the ball. I got the Magic, just to try it. I got the hex because it will offer more length than any of the other Track balls I have, I will probably put a little negative in it. And I got the spell for the cost of shipping and figured I couldn't go wrong with just trying it out.
