I got mine today, too late to punch it up for league tonight. I will have it ready for Monday. Monday I bowl on old wood, third shift league plus they get open play. There is usually plenty to fall it back on front 25 but it is hard to get the ball to corner with 3 shifts of carry down. Will be a good indicator of what it will do. I will post a review as soon as I can.

All I know is after throwing the Up Rising, I will have to get the SE and will probably drill it the same. This way, I'll already know what It will give me. That roll shape is a different look for me and it fits nicely.....

Flare is to brown/copper. Looks closer to the Heat in the vid.

The video makes it come of very red. In person it looks copper with some red tint.

I think if you shined the ball up, some more of the red will come out. It is very smooth at 4000 but does have a dull look to it. It looks like it will strike a lot. Mine has lines on it, I can't wait to drill it up Monday!

What layout are you putting on it.  I'm thinking of going with the same layout I have on my Kinetic energy.

LL....."I love the hitting power of my Uprising!",DITTO for me also.i love this ball so much...i cant wait to get the Rising-SE to complement my Up-rising!!!i dont know what drilling to get on it....but i will probably get a similiar one to my Up-rising which has a modified #1 drilling on it.because of pin placement i couldnt get the #1 drilling on it so my pro shop guy modiifed and i love that drilling so much...!!!but if they have the same drilling for the Rising-SE i will make sure i can the right pin placement and get that #1 drilling on it!!!!boy am i'm salivating for this ball!!!

It should come out to basically a 5 X 4 layout. It is a modified #1 layout where the pin will be on my center line but two inches up from grip center versus 1. The mass bias is three inches from center line, should put it at about 45-50 degrees and about 4 inches from PAP. I don't think I have ever had a ball with this layout that wasn't good so thought it would be a good starting point. After the release date, I will drill a second with a taller pin.

The ball reaction didn't blow me away but the way the video and audio was presented impressed me. Her voice over actually was very appealing.
