Hey FASTTRACKERS,

This is mainly for the people here that usually hit the Track forums pretty often. However, other feedback is alright. For my class this quarter in college one of our assignments is to do a documentary about something special in our lives going on. It didn't take me long to make a decision about Bowling! So here's the 411! The league I bowl on Thursday nights, the All-Star league is one of the most highly competitive leagues in northern Alabama. In order to win the league your team has to win one of the 3 quarters (its a 36 week league)...my team won the 2nd quarter; therefore, we are in the playoffs. I decided I'm going to do this documentary on the events leading up to the playoff which will take place next Thursday May 4. When this project is done, I'm planning on posting it here in the Track forum. I was just wondering would this interest any of you in watching it? Anyways, just an idea for you guys since we are bowlers and plus its a grade on my part so its NOT going to be just a DUMB movie put together. God Bless You and have a great week!

I would be glad to do this. However, are you willing to take some constructive criticism. See, I am in school as well right now and learning that the best feedback is the feedback from your peers.

I'd be interested in watching, but I need to correct one statement before you include it in a documentary film: how can anything have 3 quarters?  If a dollar has 3 quarters, it's only 75 cents.  If a football game has 3 quarters, it was called due to extreme circumstances.

You won the second "third" of your league.

Pin Nut,

Our league is 36 weeks long...We finished 4th in the 1st quarter, we won the 2nd quarter, and the 3rd quarter it looks like we are either going to finish somewhere between 2nd-6th...the playoffs will consist of the 3 teams who won each of the quarters plus a wild card team...that team will be the one who won the most overall points without winning a quarter...the teams that win each quarter received $750 (which is $250 a man for a 3 man team)...the playoffs are next Thursday night..if we are to win the league we will have to bowl six games...our league style is 25 point peterson point system...however we can lineup our teams anyway we wish...hope this clears up some stuff for you buddy!
