Title: whats it worth?
Post by: Matt Fortney on October 05, 2013, 06:39:48 PM
I've got a New (no box) 916 all terrain, 15lb looks like about a 3" pin, pretty good line, not sure of the top weight but nothing crazy I'm sure.

I don't really know what its worth, could only find one on eBay, and the guys got it buy it now for 350, which is ridiculous. Just curious. Lmk what you think.

He is likely the guy from Hawaii that has everything listed @ $200 to $355

$100 plus shipping plus or minus $20

I watch ebay a lot. Its a good ball and if someone really wanted it 100-120 easily plus shipping. Or it could easily sit at 100 and get zero bids.

Too bad the ball is for a specific condition and not really versatile. You need a lot of volume to be able to throw it.  May not get a lot of use. Definitely a hit or miss with trying to sell it. $75 plus shipping.  $100 if your lucky but I wouldn't count on it.

you are almost better off holding onto said ball for a bit...  i picked one up on the cheap in early 2012, and the ball is very under rated..   i left it in box condition and when i was able to use it, omg the ball was a monster...  in box condition yes it does need a fair amount of oil..  idk how this ball would react when it's polished up... you could probably use it more often though..
