all the HYPE about this ball really turned me off, might be a good ball but I'll let the ball speak for it's self.
on a side note they showed the rising on the Japan cup today.a lefty was useing it and left nothing but 7 pins on a heavier oil shot.no knock against the rising, just what they showed of the ball.

playing with track this year,Phenom,Mean machine, power machine and Inertia.(opps, bought a Columbia ball)what's up with that?it's all Ebonite
The harder I try the harder they fall

Nevermind the hype. Nevermind the advertisements.....it is real simple: I have had a Rising(4 now) since June and I have left a total of 6 10pins. FOR ME that number is staggering considering how many games I have put on this ball. I have not thrown a ball that gets the corners out as well as this one. I am not sure it is quite a flood type ball, atleast OOB it isn't. The Rising is perfect for sport patterns. It doesn't really overreact down lane and it smoothens out over/unders.

if I had one I would drill it up.you will never know how it works for you unless you try it.

I have had one ordered through my local pro shop for quite some time now.  I just checked with them today (while I was getting my old Track Rule resurfaced) and they think it's coming in tomorrow, so I'll be happy to give an unprofessional opinion of it IF I get it!
