Mini-Review: 920T

Two words: freaking awesome.

What I liked about my 920T when I tried it out today was that it's very forgiving whether I off several boards left or right. Got mine drilled with the pin below bridge and MB about 3 inches right of the thumbhole. Lane condition wasn't too bad, had a senior league that bowled that afternoon with some carrydown. The 920T at OOB has great midlane read, decent length and a strong, continuous backend (and I normally don't do well with 4000 grit). It almost seems like it's a control ball because of how easy and controllable this ball makes it move at the breakpoint. Almost thought to myself, "man, maybe Track should have put a C on the end of it instead of a T." But make no mistake, this ball handles oil and carrydown very well even when I swung it inside where it was more wet. Compared to my polished Mission it's earlier but more controllable.

I may be able to get more playing time with it tomorrow on the Route 66 pattern before a tourney on Thursday. Plus next Tuesday, the pro shop is nice enough for me to try out the 607A to see how that ball rolls. Looking very forward to it!
