Need help from the track experts!
« on: October 07, 2005, 05:31:21 AM »
I started using Track last year and really love the equipment. I'm struggling in one house however. The pattern is very close to 30 units on the inside but they don't strip the backends. So if you try and swing the ball it doesn't come back outside 10. If I use a real aggressive ball (GP2) it burns up due to lack of head oil. I been using the heat and desert heat with some mild success playing up the track area. But there is very small margin of error on my break point. Is there a ball that can get through the heads and not burn up but strong enough to cut through the carry down? Thanks.

Arsenal Reactive or A rule Delta 1, you might have to adjust the surface on the Delta 1.

Thanks for the input. Has anyone try to play the delta 1 on a similar pattern?

JC, im sorry, but I have not. I dont have my delta yet but from what I have seen and heard it would be an okay ball. The OOB surface is 900 grit sanded which might burn up, so you might need some polish on it.

JC,

If you were to try the Delta or Arsenal Reactive you most definately would need to adjust the surface....they both come with a fairly smooth/dull finish so they would burn up as well.

I think your best best since you currently using a heat and desert would end up being the Xception or Xception 5.0. Both of them are going to give you more forgiveness through carrydown. The Xception is going to be cleaner through the heads than the Heat.

I hope this info Helps,
Carl
