It would depend on how you throw the ball and where you like too play on the lane.  But, overall the Freakazoid would backend more on most conditions.  hopefully that info will help.

They're both good balls and give great enough reads to be benchmark balls. For me, the FAZ is smoother overall because of the lower RG and symmetry of the core.  The Havoc reacts just a tad stronger downlane when both are drilled identically and put to identical surfaces.

Maybe the Mrs. will chime in since she's had both also.

I have used both as benchmark balls, as both give me a similar read, but the FAZ is a little smoother due to being symmetric and a lower RG, and thus I have turned to it more and more often when going to toureys, but the Havoc is still a great piece and has a spot in my bag as well!

These happen to be two of my favorite balls.  The Havoc is assymetrical "lite", meaning that it will give you a little more flip in the back than the Freak-a-zoid (but that is not to say that the ball will jump off the dry).  I loved my Havoc with surface because it gave me an even read on most lane conditions and hit strongly.

My Freak-a-zoid is more even than the Havoc and it is definitely my "go to" ball when the going gets tough.  You can also have success with surface but I think it works best out of the box, clean and sheen, I believe.  The smoothness of this ball allows me to use the track area as a little bumper without having to worry about splitting or getting into trouble.  It is the ball that I start practice with and I often end up using it all night.

Depending on how you bowl and where you bowl any of these two balls would be great pieces to have but to have both is even better:

Dull Havoc + Shiny FAZ = Damn good complements for me.

Both of these balls are very good, I do not feel that one is better than the other. Backend though the Freakazoid will offer more backend. Both of these balls make great "benchmark" balls.

Between the 2, I like the FAZ.  The lower rg just pulls up in the mids for me and continues without me having to work for it.
