Xception Reaction Shape
« on: January 20, 2005, 06:03:02 AM »
The Track literature list the reaction shape for the Xception as long/strong as opposed to the normal arc or skid/flip description. When I watched WRW use it to win his 40th title I thought the reaction was a strong flip.

Can someone explain the difference, if any?

Thanks and long live Track !!

In my opinion, the X-Ception does go long (skid) and is very strong (flip) on the backend. Its just Track's way of saying skid/flip.

i'd say it's as strong an arc you can get b4 calling it a snap. It's quite long, and makes a great move.

Xception's reaction shape is skid/flip, just as Clint said, it is Track's way of saying it.

Hey lefty,

You're going to possibly see various answers to this because of what Greg7 mentioned.  Based on an individual's style with tilt, speed, revs and rotation, you can get the stronger asymms to skid/flip, skid/arc, skid/strong arc....etc.  All reactions can vary some due to mb placement and individual style.  I personally get more of a stronger/flip look also but I also drilled it that way.  Hope this helps explain....
