Yes!!!!!!! My first 700 series
« on: April 07, 2006, 10:23:04 AM »
I have averaged 175 this year in a small house with a very tough shot. I never thought I would have a chance at a 700 series, I have only been bowling for 4 years now and was 37 when I started then. Anyway, 236 first game, second game X, 9 (7 pin) whiff, 8 in a row for a 254. Now I am thinking if I can keep up a decent pace a 700 is in reach. Threw a clean 216 to get a 706 the last game. I was throwing my Arsenal Angular I have had for about 6 weeks now. I love this ball!!!!!!!! It seems like cheating throwing this ball, just get it close and the pins have no chance. I was so excited I could not sleep last night......and have been giddy all day. Thanks for listening, I know a 700 is not much to some out there but it sure was cool for me.

Thanks guys, I hope I can get a few more. Only 2 more weeks left of this season. I really like the reaction I get with the Angular. I had it drilled for an arc-y reaction and it does that great. I did get this one at Buddies thanks to this board. I am thinking about getting an Aggressive or Artillery to handle a little more oil as a complement.
Jimmy The Saint was Andy Garcias character in Things To Do In Denver When Your Dead. Great sleeper movie.

Never feel bad about doing something good my friend, you know the atmosphere and conduct of the Track forum is to wish nothing but the best for their fellow bowlers or I wouldn't be a part of this great group.  Keep up the good bowling Jimmy!

Way to go keep up the good work

The question isn't why do I throw all Track, it's why don't you.

Rule GP2, Rule Delta 1, Heat Blast, Triton Heat,  Desert Heat, Blue Enforcer, Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Glove

yeah i got my only 700 about a year ago, last week of summer league, games went 216, 234, 256, one open frame the second frame of the first game

bowled it with my animal untamed

was only averaging 175 at the time, in about the same boat as you, have only been bowling for about 3 1/2 years now, funny thing though was i only had 2-3 600 series when i bowled my 700 lol

but it was fun, and a very good night for me, just wish i could get a couple more 700 under my belt

The Arsenal Angular is an AMAZING BALL.  I was using an X-OUT after all my regular stuff was stolen...didn't have much money at the time..so I found one on eBay for like $35....it was awesome.  Wish I could get another one.
