Your TRACK status???
« on: May 20, 2007, 06:43:35 AM »
Folks, this post is out there to see where you stand when it comes to Track Equipment. We have had to endure a long time since our last release. Some have ventured to other equipment, some have sat on what you already had and have been waiting patiently for the next releases.

Many things have been stated recently by Rick and myself. You know that the TAG-TEAM is on board with Track and that we will remain here to give info or suggestions as we have always been. None of that will change. We will continue to help with your questions about bowling equipment in general. NONE of that will change.

Are you interested in the NEW Track knowing that the TAG-TEAM will be around to support the equipment and address any of the concerns that you may have about it? Remember, with all of what we have been provided Rick and I are really impressed with Track's plans for the future. The equipment will again be leading edge in the bowling industry. We also believe that we have the proper leadership to get us back where we belong, on top!

We are very interested to hear what you have to say about the "new" Track. Do you feel as pumped about the future as Rick and I do? What are you looking forward too the most? What would you like to see with the equipment?

Looking forward to your replies,

-Carl

I will stay with Track as long as i like the equipment that is put out, but if they use the same covers and Ebonite and start dying out like most of the new balls they have put out then I might look at other companies. I just hope i dont have to go elsewhere as I have liked bowling with Track the last 4 years

At the same time I've sat on, and primarily use my Track equipment, I desperately needed a pure, heavy oil ball.  From what I've gotten to throw in the past 6 months since I've taken the game seriously, none have been able to fit that bill like my Total NV has.  I'm eagerly awaiting the new Track line.  However, it won't ever be the same.  I'll likely get the next Track ball.  But, when I do, I'll look at it and say "Ebonite made this ball".

I may sound pessimistic, but believe I'm not.  I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens....I'll be standing by.

I will continue to throw Track! Even though I have 2 total nvs and a Morich Awesome Revs, the bulk of my arsenal continues to be Track!

to be honest... I started out with Track (set of Arsenals... angular and aggressive) and both balls were drilled wrong for me so I switched driller + producer but I am "back on track" with a Machine (still not drilled .. but soon )

Also I am searching for a good alternative for a Power machine but with a sym Core . (PP ex?)

So still member in the legion.. maybe not the strongest follower but still...

I'm still trying to force myself to temper my enthusiasm for the new Track balls. I've heard so many good underground rumblings. Not sure I can wait for Rick and Carl to lead into the new future of Track. Guys, don't keep us waiting too long ....

FYI Still keeping and using 16 lb Solution PowerPlus EX, Mojo, and a Hex. In storage for the future are 15 lbs: a Solution PowerPlus EX, Arsenal Reactive, a Hex and an Exception.

Would "kill" for a new Assasin, Heat 2 solid or a VooDoo.

HEY CARL!

Ever since I started with McCorvey's Pro Shop back in April, and this was around the time the buyout just happened...I honestly didn't know what to do...I knew Track wouldn't have any releases til everything was finalized and the new production began...so with that being said, I ventured off...not as a slap in the face to Track but because being in the pro shop...I feel you have to be a versatile operator because some people may not show interest in a product you feel passionate about! So I took a couple of other companies and gave them a try...

The Conclusion? I feel there is no bad bowling ball out there. All the companies put out the best product; however, when it comes to Track, the history is there and I knew since hearing about the buyout that it would be in good hands even though there was friction in the beginning from some people who were definitely against it...this may have changed but I do know this...

I see myself turning in my non-track equipment before the fall season starts back up and going back to nothing but an all Track arsenal again simply because I had success with the equipment. As they say, don't go against the grain or if it isn't broke, don't fix it! From conversations per Rick and I, if you can give me a piece with the qualities and characteristics of the X-Ception and Equation, then I'll be a happy camper! I've always promoted the Track product and just about everybody knows me in this forum if not on BR.com as the "Track Video Guy"...Once a FASTTRACKER and always a FASTTRACKER! That's my opinion, take it for what its worth! I've said it once and I'll say it again...

God Bless You All and have a great week!

I am optimistic and I base that on Rick and Carl's knowledge and expertise.

I did buy a bunch of the last San Antonio Track equipment up, so I feel I am set for a long time unless some of the New Track equipment proves itself as better than what I already have. I can always sell off the old stuff and recover my money.

If any of you read my post about how I started with Track, I may have been on board longer than anyone. Phil started Track in Ohio. I had the original Black and Blue Enforcers with the original logos and they were made in Ohio. Dave D'Entremont was throwing Track before he went on tour. We knew and bowled with Phil.

I will be 50 this fall, but I am still a big and powerfully built man who still has a lot of game left.

I'm on board, at the rate I go through equipment to stuff I have currently that is non-Track wouldn't be in my bag past the end of the summer anyways.  Its a rare ball that claims a spot in my arsenal for more than a month or two.  The Equation and Power Machine are both two of those.

I'm pretty excited and glad to see Rick and Carl on board.

Still going strong. Using my 2 5.0's along with my Robo and Power Machine. Just asked my driller to get me a Mean Machhine on closeout. Still have 2 NIB 5.0s and an Inertia. ight have to get a few Machines if I can't cop some more 5.0s...lol...Anticipating some good releases I hope because I have so many Track shirts and don't want to start over again with another company....9

I myself, am open minded about the new Track equipment.  I still use all my older Track balls (If you call the Mean Machine old).  I never ended up getting the Power Machine or the Phoenix (I could have).  I am sure that Ebonite is making sure they just don't throw a ball out there without knowing that the first ball they make under the Track name can make or break Track's followers.  Everyone was afraid that when Columbia 300 Industries was sold to Ebonite that Track would either be discontinued or be a company that sells only overseas.  I have gotten a Fury and a Total Inferno but have not gotten the itch to drill them up.  The reason why?  I am loyal to Track.  I have this mental block when it comes to throwing something other than Track.  I know I can throw just about any equipment that's out there.  Anyway, I look forward to our Regional Player's Championship coming up this next weekend.  I'm hoping that Mike Judy will be there so I can ask him some questions about the new equipment(obviously, everyone is pretty much tight lipped about it).

As I posted in another thread, I have not left & will not as long as Rick & Carl are still onboard. I am very well satified with my Track arsenal, but I am anxious to see what the NEW Track has to offer. If the new equipment appears to be better than what I currently have, I will not hesitate to upgrade. I do not have the resources to be a "ball of the month" member, so performance & durability are required attributes. My 2 cents.....
