Your TRACK status???
« on: May 20, 2007, 06:43:35 AM »
Folks, this post is out there to see where you stand when it comes to Track Equipment. We have had to endure a long time since our last release. Some have ventured to other equipment, some have sat on what you already had and have been waiting patiently for the next releases.

Many things have been stated recently by Rick and myself. You know that the TAG-TEAM is on board with Track and that we will remain here to give info or suggestions as we have always been. None of that will change. We will continue to help with your questions about bowling equipment in general. NONE of that will change.

Are you interested in the NEW Track knowing that the TAG-TEAM will be around to support the equipment and address any of the concerns that you may have about it? Remember, with all of what we have been provided Rick and I are really impressed with Track's plans for the future. The equipment will again be leading edge in the bowling industry. We also believe that we have the proper leadership to get us back where we belong, on top!

We are very interested to hear what you have to say about the "new" Track. Do you feel as pumped about the future as Rick and I do? What are you looking forward too the most? What would you like to see with the equipment?

Looking forward to your replies,

-Carl

I'M OUT. I started using Del's designs with AMF and they worked really well for me. Del and I became friends and I was always amazed at the attention he paid to those who used his designs, and everyone here knows that. He made balls for "bowlers". He traveled a lot, ran clinics and was approachable to anyone who was interested in the product. His designs were specific to what his customers, us, wanted and I wish you good luck finding that attitude again. The recycling game was not part of his genre and he paid great detail to the coverstock materials and even to the color of the balls his customers liked. Del, Dawn, Chuck Gardner and the people he put together all got a "raw deal" and I can't honestly overlook that fact. There is more to life than loyality to the "brand" when the people who set the standard for that brand are disregarded.

Hey Lanebed, I hear you man.  I have the utmost respect for Del, Dawn, Chuck and Brian Pursel.  These people have not only taught me about the industry but we became friends.  "THAT" is priceless.....

Agree whole heartedly but isn't that what you're doing now?....showing your sense of loyalty?  Loyalty is being faithful, that's all.  Point the finger in the right direction, was it Ebonite or anyone there who pushed out our friends?  NO!  So at least be fair and open minded.

I can't disregard anybody who comes in and takes over a business, business is business as we know.  Everytime your boss leaves for a better job/gets fired/whatever, do you quit?  No, (regardless of loyalty and friendship) most of us can't. In life, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt until he/she shows me their true colors and then I will make my decision as to how they fit into my life.  I thought everyone did this to some extent....

Please thank Kenny Hall for me.  Our drilling, (the Leong-Hall) should be renamed to the Lanebed Layout IMHO. It is having much success out here on many of our wet/dry conditions, thank you very much for this.

Very well said Rick. I couldn't agree more. Many of us were unhappy with the way things went for Del and co., but that is business. None of the folks at Ebonite were behind those moves.

Words could not describe how thoroughly pissed I was when they were bought out.  Especially since I bought the PM, MM, and pre-ordered the Phoenix not too long before this happened.  Getting as mad as I did, showed me how loyal I am (even though I have a TNV) to Track.

In my fall league, I was the only one who threw Track, and it just made me all the more dedicated that Track was a strong company, and showing up the best of the best in my league.

I had 22 Star Trak Balls, and then switched to Track when Phil Cardinale left Star Trak and started Track after Dick Haas and Star Trak folded. I have owned 8 or 10 Track balls and If they are the same covers and designs I will, but if they are just Ebonite balls with a Track Logo, I won't.

blueraider,

The Track designs will be unique and different than Ebonite. This seems to the biggest concern of most you. Track will be unique and a company all its own.
