Track Shark...worth getting?

If you had a chance to get an old Track Shark to use on today's standard house shots...would you do it...why or why not?

Shark or T-Shark?  

FWIW, I have tried twice to snag a T-Shark but nobody ever had one in a 15.  

The older stuff works just fine on the THS.  Yeah, you may not go coast to coast with it, but strikes are strikes.

hmm good question.  I think it's just a regular shark.  2 piece reactive from 1992.  Danny Wiseman is selling one right now..it's 16 lbs. though.  

After searching again..he has both of them...the Shark and the T-Shark.  Both in 16 lbs.  What would the difference be?

Edit:  I just read the T Shark is urethane and the Shark is reactive.  

Also I like the idea of not being able to hook the lane.  I have trouble with balls that don't get enough length, or just flip out of control.

Yea after re reading my post I think I did get it backwards.  I seem to have better success with the older reactive equipment compared to what is out now.

I've been looking on eBay for an older solid NIB, but not sure what to get quite yet.

I used both back in the day...the only one Id consider would be the T-Shark. The Shark really wasn't that good of a ball(my opinion). The T-Shark would be a very nice light oil ball though....Personally I wouldn't overpay though!

T-Shark was the better of the two.  i had one in my bag along with a Raspberry Xcaliber.  boy those were the days!

Yea the Buy It Now Prices on the two were like $150 a piece, then add in shipping and I'm paying more for something that I wouldn't even be sure it would work.  I bet back in the day those were like $150 when they came out

I decided to scrap that idea, but I did pick up some doozies

This will be my Arsenal for this year and the years to come:

Hammer Black Widow
MoRich Awesome Finish
Roto Grip Sonic Boom
Hammer Blue Hammer Urethane  Just picked one up NIB
Ebonite Maxim Captain FireBall Spare

I think I should have everything covered, except for soup and extremely long patterns, but I don't see conditions like that enough to warrant buying a super heavy oil ball.

I can't wait to get the Blue Hammer in.  That might be the number one ball out of my bag.  Ultimate Control
