Thanks a ton guys!!  Just came home today and Reno was a blast!  Not so sure about the good looking thing but we can run with that.

Team event was a much better look for me than singles/doubles.  Obviously if you look at my scores.  But anyways team event I used a Special Agent that is 3.5 x 3 with a small hole 2 below my pap.  I have a little shine but put some surface on the front flares.

Thanks again and good luck to all that are going to the tournament.

Nice JJ..... How's it feel to tell everyone you used a illegal surface on the  ball to win an event? No I don't understand their reasoing for the rule, but it's in place and should be followed.

I don't know if I would be telling people I only hit the front flares of the ball either.

Nice bowling Joe...

His ball obviously passed inspection, so what's the problem?

There are a million ways to prepare a cover for tournament play that follow the usbc rules. Obviously your thinking that a particular part of my ball was duled and different than the rest of the ball.  But once again there are many different tricks to accomplish a particular reaction by staying within the rules. So if you can't SEE what my ball looks like don't pass judgement. But then again your are entitled to your opinion. So say what you wish.

Strapper thanks man, it was fun!
