any bowl the hoinke lately?  Im going to shoot it in a couple of weeks and was wondering what people here have experienced.  thank you in advance

Pretty much this.  The closer to the headpin you can keep it the more forgiving the shot.

The oil volume starts off medium, maybe medium heavy but breaks down very quickly.  Smoother, arcing balls seem to work better because the backends are usually flying.
