Are the men bowling at the stadium or the convention center, ive heard both so looking to find out. Also to the people that send there balls out what company do you use and what time frame do you give them, thanks to all.

At the Stadium. I don't have to ship to Reno, but for Baton Rouge, I used USBC's Bowling Ball Express. It costs a little more than straight UPS or FedEx, but I feel it's worth the it.

On the shipping question, it depends how much you want to spend and where you are coming from. If you are on the East Coast, and go straight ground, it will take about 4-5 days. You can pay a little more and do 3 day or you can spend a lot more do overnight. It all depends on what means more to you.
I tend to go with straight Fed-Ex....partly because I get a discount using our corporate rate. But I find them to be more reliable when it comes to ship times as well. You can ship directly to your hotel, most will hold them for you till you arrive. Just call them and let them know they are coming, as long as it isn't too far in advance of when you are arriving, there usually isn't a charge.

I use fedex as well because its cheaper and much faster. Planes vs trucks is a no brainer.

I'm with milo on this one, as we are roughly from the same area.
Don't have to ship to Reno; in fact, there was a time once when I forgot a ball for D/S, that I made the drive back down the hill home to the Sacramento area, picked up that ball, and made the drive back up. Spoiled, am I. :)
For Vegas, I'm debating on the flight or the drive. If it were my wife and I, we'd make the flight. With kids now, we may drive. Accommodations wouldn't be the problem for us, as her parents life in Kingman, and I still have my apartment there (relatives are caring for it), so we're good there.
Anywhere else, I'd ship... unless I were using those Rhino Pro double ball bags that came out in the early 90s. I'd carry those on a flight, but with more than 4 balls, that may be a problem. I'd ship.
For those that ship, would you take the balls out of your bag/roller, and ship just the ball, or bag as well?

I flew Southwest out to Reno last year, and I'll do so again this year. The two free checked bags come in handy. I was able to ship a three ball rolling bag and a two-ball tote, and then I just carried on my small suitcase with my clothes. It was a nice way to avoid having to ship ahead of time or pay out the nose to get the gear back and forth. If you can find a reasonable flight, that's the route I'd go.
