And there have been a 747 and a 724 shot in singles.   Wow.

Did you think no one would bowl well?

Kid - sorry, but no.  If you look at years past.  It's taken weeks, sometimes months, for someone to reach the 740's.

I believe the 747 was shot by a BR Member, TWOHAND834 if I'm not mistaken.  Nice shooting Steve!

And then look at their other scores.  Vance only had 1 other 200 game out of the six, he averaged 209 for AE.

Same with Malcom White, he averaged 186 and had a 415 in doubles.

So while their singles scores were great, I don't think this is some indication that scores are gonna be through the roof this year.  I think it means a couple guys found a look and got hot at the right time.

(this wasn't a slam on either guy, just pointing out the bigger picture)

It IS next year!

I think the pattern this year takes the far outside lines out of play. I saw a few people scoring out at 2,3,4 last year. I don't think you will see that this year. I think the shot will again be in 6-9 board range. Especially if you work as a team to dry up an area there. We will have to see what Riggs and his teammates say when they report back, they are usually a good indicator of where the shot is.
